On the February 19 broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show”, Jisoo appeared as a guest to promote her new song.

During the show, Park Myung-soo remarked, “BLACKPINK is undoubtedly a world-class star. It must feel different now compared to when you first started. How high do you think your status is?“
Jisoo responded, “Foreign artists tend to be friendly, so even before we became really successful, they gave us positive feedback. I was touched when they looked us up or gave feedback after watching our performances. These days, when we meet them, they say, ‘If you have a concert, I’d love to go watch.’“
Park Myung-soo then asked “Has your English improved?“, to which Jisoo firmly replied “NO“, making everyone burst into laughter. She added jokingly, “I am trying my best to communicate, though.”
Park Myung-soo further asked, “I heard that during BLACKPINK’s English interviews, you tend to take a step back?” Jisoo admitted “If the members are there, yes. If they’re not, then I have no choice. But the others are so good at it! Since I want to communicate properly, I let the ones who can express things well do it. Meanwhile, I stay in the back and throw in Korean comments here and there“, adding to the humor.
On the other hand, Jisoo recently released her solo mini-album “AMORTAGE” along with the title “Earthquake” on February 14th. She is also appearing on the zombie-romance K-drama “Newtopia”, and will be starring the movie adaptation of the famous webnovel “Omniscient Readers’ Viewpoint”.
